Source: Institute of Tourism Average daily consumption of multi – day visitors in wellness segment is 149 € (82 € for accommodation, 11 € for health services), lbarley segment € 63 (€ 34 for accommodation, € 16 for health services) and medical segment at € 292 (€ 31 for accommodation, € 221 for health services). Wellness guests are, according to the monthly income of the household, the best paying power, followed by users of medical and health services, and about half of users of wellness and medical services and about two-thirds of users of health services go on one to three health-motivated trips a year; at the same time, about a third of guests have not used this type of service so far. According to the research, users of wellness and medical services are mostly foreigners (82% and 73%) and come from nearby traditional emitting tourist markets, while users of health services are mostly domestic guests (67%). One of the canine handlers is Capt. Matt Kirk from Heartland Fire.Later Wednesday night, the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department announced they would send one brush engine to Santa Barbara as part of a Type III Strike Team. This apparatus is the California Office of Emergency Services (OES) brush engine and has four crew – a captain and three firefighters.The mudslides in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties have claimed the lives of at least 17 people, with dozens still missing. Twenty people remained hospitalized, four in critical condition, according to the Associated Press.An estimated 100 homes were completely destroyed, with at least 300 damaged.Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson (D-Santa Barbara) released the following statement on the mudslide in Santa Barbara County:“Today has been another heartbreaking and difficult day, as the search and rescue effort continues and the number of casualties has grown to 17. The search for the missing remains ongoing, and all of us have begun taking in the extent of the devastation to our community. I know our strong community will regain its footing and we will recover.Safety must continue to be everyone’s top priority. I urge everyone to continue to follow evacuation and safety orders, to follow orders to boil water, if directed to do so, and to continue to look out for each other. I extend my deepest gratitude to our emergency personnel for their extraordinary bravery and rescue efforts. Mamata stresses on need for preservation of water resources

This year’s theme is ‘Nature for Water’.”Our govt launched the ‘Jal Dharo-Jal Bharo’ scheme in 2011 with the objective of conserving precious water resources.”2,33,158 ponds have been created/renovated in seven years under this scheme,” she said.The scheme was launched in 2011-12 with an aim to preserve water resources by harvesting rain water, as well as arresting run-off of surface water through construction and management of minor irrigation structures.last_img read more
