An image of the next Realme phone aka the Realme 2 was accidentally put up on the company website last week. The image revealed that the Realme 2 will follow the on-going trend of a notched display. Realme has now officially confirmed via a teaser on Twitter that the Realme 2 is for real and will come with a notch on top of the display just as the OnePlus 6 and the iPhone X. Alongside confirming the notched display for the Realme 2, the company has also revealed that the smartphone will be “coming soon”. Realme, however, hasn’t revealed that exact timeline of the Realme 2 launch as of yet.Realme via a Twitter post revealed that the upcoming Realme 2 will come with an iPhone X-like notch. In the tweet, the company noted, “We know you’ve been waiting eagerly! The suspense will end soon. #Realme2 #ANotchAbove #ComingSoon.” Although there’s no official launch timeline of the Realme 2 launch, the company has noted that the phone is coming soon. We can expect the Realme 2 go official in another month or so.Along with the tweet, Realme has also posted a picture showing the top portion of the Realme 2 from the front. The notch, which seems to be smaller than that of the iPhone X, is seen with a selfie camera, earpiece and some sensors. The image further reveals the phone with minimal bezels on the sides and also on the top.Last week, the retail box of the Realme 2 was leaked online, however it didn’t reveal any details about the phone. Meanwhile, the image of the Realme 2 that appeared on the official website revealed that the phone will follow the market trend and come with iPhone X like notched display. The picture further revealed that the phone will come with minimal bezels on the sides. Next to the camera setup will be the LED flash for better picture capture in low-light situations. The picture further revealed that the phone will sport a circular module fingerprint sensor which will sit right below the camera set up on the rear panel to unlock the phone and capture pictures.As far as the design is concerned, the Realme 2 will be quite similar to that of the Realme 1. It will boast of Oppo’s signature diamond-pattern design. However, according to the image put up on the website, looks like the Realme 2 will be slimmer than the Realme 1.
